- Hi..I am from Pouerto Rico, have been 22 years without alcohol, at the moment I was searching to see what information I could find on the illness of alcohol, my exhusband continue to drink and my children,....even they are grown un deals with their father alcoholism and I am hurting today since I know I can not make their father stop, only him could make that descition, in the meantime I guess I will write him a letter.....who knows....thank God my son thirty sixs yeard old is clean and sober also and doing good but the situation with his father is causing him a lot of grief, he lives with his father and his 80 year old grandfather....all I know is today I feel sad about all this even though I know there is not much I can do and that I am powerless.....well, that is all by know.....thanks for listetining ,,,,,my email mherrera@coqui.net
