Hey Renee: Any updates on the Field Guide?

I'd like to mention that I, too, am writing a book many years in the making. It amazes me when I compare the Addiction Alchemy system to that which I have been working on. It is evident we are on the same wave length as there are so many similarities it is uncanny. I would love to incorporate Addiction Alchemy as reference material and would like to request your permission and blessing. I would, of course, implement full credit to your original work.

About the only differences I see are minor and relate to the color correspondences and I use the term "henge" as opposed to "wheel." The rest of our material is evidently based on much of the same ancient mysteries and resources. I am certain our works would be quite complimentary and supportive. I am looking forward to sharing this journey.

All sounds very exciting. I'd love to devote my time and energy to the best I am able. Unfortunately, I am a very long way from Florida and North Carolina. Though nothing is impossible, it is highly unlikely I will be able to afford such a commitment. I am developing a new program at the center where I work, and getting time away would be very difficult. But I am very interested in the Field Guide approach nonetheless. Please keep me updated. Very, very close - looking at early fall to go into production. With all the technical writing for the activities and photos, a big part of the book has become centered around the creative acitvities that are suitable to be done in a short wheel gathering (2-3 hours) that have a big artistic and psychological impact.

We have also acquired a retreat center in North Carolina where we will be offering initiations, as well. The plan now is to launch the book and to support anyone who wishes to lead groups on the steam of the book alone. It will have everything that one needs to facilitate and gather in the weekly edition of the Addiction Alchemy Recovery Medicine Wheel. We will be encouraging that and maintaining a database of groups around the world.
Then if one were to want to become a bit more serious about facilitating this work, we will be offering a weeklong training and initiation to become an Addiction Alchemy Guide. This would afford someone the opportunity to become a recognized and accredited guide in this tradition, as well as get their group listed on the Addiction Alchemy website.

The next level, if one were to want to become an initiated Addiction Alchemy JourneyMaster is a year long series of gathering in NC - with 5 gatherings about every 3 months and the successful completion of the facilitation of their own medcine wheel journey with their own people. This is for the long term journey's, which last anywhere from 8-10 months.
